The work of the Arts Project facilitates a positive contribution by the Catholic Church to the cultural life of the Glasgow area. As such, the Arts Project has a primary obligation to the Catholic community of Glasgow, especially parishes and schools. However, it is hoped that the universal appeal of the arts and their ability to cut across social, religious and cultural boundaries will present plenty of opportunities for ecumenical and inter-religious activity as well as involving those of no particular faith orientation. The work carried out by the Arts Project is open to anyone irrespective of faith orientation but seeks to maintain an uncompromised fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
