SEARCH FOR THE HERO: Film and Faith Event
Wednesday 4th March

“The Catholic Iconography and vocational struggle inherent in the Spiderman films rank them among the most prominent spiritual films of our time.”  So claimed Lentfest Director, Stephen Callaghan in a newspaper article which last year reviewed Sam Raimi’s Spiderman Trilogy and attracted the interest of those engaged in the promotion of religious vocations.
Following the success of past film and faith events (Passion of the Christ [2007]; Man Dancin’ [2008]; and Karol [2008]), this year, Lentfest is offering pupils in S1 – S6 the chance to take part in a brand new film event which invites them to consider how faith can offer a unique enriching perspective when engaging with Hollywood cinema.    Full Details..
