The Catholic Church recognises that every piece of art lovingly created can be a vehicle for giving glory to God. Therefore, not only art with overtly religious themes is considered by the Arts Project. In fact, the Arts Project sets out to facilitate the exploration, celebration and sharing of faith through any mode of art. As Christians, our belief in the Incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ means that our understanding of humanity has been changed forever through this mystery. It is thus important that the Church continues to deepen its understanding of the human condition through the arts and so to enter into the Christian mystery in an ever deeper sense.
