The Arts Project is managed by Stephen Callaghan, a Theatre, Film and Television studies graduate of the University of Glasgow with diplomas in Speech and Drama Teaching from the London College of Music and Media.

His work as a director and actor includes the Scottish Premier Productions of two plays by the late Pope John Paul II, one of which was performed at World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne, Germany.

As a writer, he created the play Passionate Voices, which was performed in various church venues throughout 2007.  Stephen worked with Archbishop Conti to develop the concept of the Arts Project and to implement it.

As a theatre practitioner, he is constantly devising new work for the Arts Project and co-ordinates events and activities in all areas of the arts across the Archdiocese.  Stephen meets with an Advisory Committee 3 times a year to plan the running of the Arts Project.
