Lentfest 2022 Online: An Imaginative Fusion of Faith and the Arts
Everything in One Place...Your Place!
Since its pilot in 2007, Lentfest has been part of the life of the Archdiocese of Glasgow, bringing together creative talent and encouraging community involvement through events that are inspired by our faith. It has involved people of various faith backgrounds, and none at all, in activities such as art exhibitions, theatre, talks and panel discussions, poetry and storytelling, music and school activities. From the classical to the contemporary, Lentfest has attracted the support and involvement of everyone, amateur and professional alike, drawing all together with the encouragement of the Church.

Schools for Hope Video Challenge
We invited schools across the Archdiocese of Glasgow and beyond to reflect on the theme, “Always be ready to give an answer for the HOPE that is within you.” (Peter 3:15), and to come up with something inspirational for our Online Programme. Here are the results:
Hudson Regional Catholic High School, New Jersey, USA.
American Hope: A Celebration of Hope in Urban America. |
St Oswald's High School, Glasgow.
A Picture for Hope This is a collage contributed to by the whole school. It is a collage of hope, that Glasgow will be happy in the future with less pollution. The pupils have drawn happy buildings, a clean River Clyde, and electric cars, buses and bikes. It was completed as part of our COP 26 studies.
