“Singing the Mass”, a day-long Workshop focussing on musical settings of the new translation of the Mass, including the chant setting from the new Roman Missal and James MacMillan’s Mass of Blessed John Henry Newman (as sung at the recent Papal visit). Designed to give inexperienced singers confidence to join in and take part as fully as possible so, if you think you can?t sing or are afraid to open your mouth, this is the workshop for you! There will be tips about happy and effective singing as well as a chance to get more comfortable with the music. No experience or music-reading ability required.
Tea/coffee breaks – bring your own packed lunch.
